WARREN R. HENRY DOME-LOUNGE-OBSERVATION CAR
The Warren R. Henry is an Astra Dome railcar that was originally built as Union Pacific No. 9007 in 1955 by American Car and Foundry (ACF) for the "City of Portland" passenger train. It was a dome-lounge-observation car in its original configuration. The car was acquired by Rail Ventures, Inc. in 2001 from the Wisconsin & Southern Railroad (a Class II railroad) and renamed "Glacier Park". It was sold to Patrick Henry of Creative Charters in 2004 and renamed the "Warren R. Henry" after his father, who was a long-time executive with the Atchison, Topeka, and Santa Fe Railway.
The car was then thoroughly renovated and upgraded with rich Honduras mahogany and many other amenities by present owner Patrick Henry.
