QUINCY, OMAHA AND KANSAS CITY RAILROAD
The Quincy, Omaha & Kansas City Railroad Company was a single-track and standard-gauge utilizing steam and doodlebugs. The railroad was located in Missouri and Illinois and owned trackage extending from West Quincy to North Kansas City, a total of 244.316 miles, all of which was in Missouri. The company maintained a freight house and tracks at Quincy, Illinois.
The company was incorporated in June of 1987 and later was controlled by the Chicago, Burlington and Quincy, eventually being fully absorbed into that company.
