PURITAN

The Puritan was an all-coach passenger train operated by the New York, New Haven and Hartford Railroad than ran between New York, New York and Boston, Massachusetts. The train ran from 1925 until 1968.

 

Schedule

In 1953, the Puritan, Train No. 20, was a daily train that left New York Grand Central at 3pm, Pennsylvania Station at 3:10 pm, and arrived in Bridgeport at 4:07 pm, and New Haven at 4:25 pm. The train featured a parlor car New York to Boston, a dining car New York to Boston (except July 4 and September 6), and coaches.
